Google Completes ‘Google Office’ to Compete Against Microsoft Office
It looks like Google has now their own complete version of Google Office with the purchase of Jotspot.
In our opinion, it looks like Google is working to take out the largest revenue stream from Microsoft other than the OS. It appears the strategy is deny Microsoft the revenue used to fight Google online. This is an intresting battle to say the least, Microsoft missed the Internet in a big way, instead focusing on desktop applications. The Google method almost makes all computers dumb terminals from the 1970’s (minus the green screens).
It’s about time anway, some of us were getting sick of the 400 dollar sticker shock per employee, and migrated to openoffice.
Google please build us an OS as well 🙂
